Log & Period Additions
When you have a 300 year old stone home, preserving its integrity is top priority! However, this family also needed more space; so, they came to us for a Period Addition.
To accomplish this, Kline Log Homes utilized a combination of hewn flat logs, dovetailed corners, and chinking to match log construction from the 1700’s. The basement was built with stone and mortar construction, which further compliments the original house.
Inside, the feeling continues with rough hewn beams, iron door hardware, and rustic railings.
The outcome is a home that’s fully authentic to its original period!
